SOVIET INFLUENCE

The corporate identity of a company contributes to its significant and visual standing out against the competition and it can be perceived elsewhere in the interior design of an office space. This project aims at presenting the sanitary rooms as entirely related to the overall concept of interior design spaces, proving that a future facing company can preserve a certain time of history by the usage of specific materials.

The distinctive look of the mosaics or the so-called terrazzo is well known as part of the aesthetics of the past socialist period. Nowadays, it becomes more and more recognizable and combined together with carefully selected contemporary materials as concrete, ceramics, plexiglass and HPL surfaces in color provide the space certain visual impact which serves as an intriguing setting for the employees. And satisfied employees are the ones that are being productive and engaged in their work. The mixture of materials is enhanced by playful signs on some of the walls and the minimalistic presence of fresh greenery – a recipe for good mood.

There are separated female toilets, male toilets and toilets for handicapped people. The used sanitary products are water and energy efficient, easy to mount and maintain, but most of all suggesting a high level of hygiene. The separate rooms are freed from ornated elements, emphasizing on the ceramics as a dominant accent.

Most of the products are series Strada II – sinks in different shapes and console toilet bowls.
